The State Initiative of Yarosh (Державницька ініціатива Яроша) is the political party of Dmytro Yarosh, the former leader of Right Sector, founded in 20161. The main goal of the party is to unify the far right in Ukraine. The party represents a paramilitary force known as the Ukrainian Volunteer Army, a splinter organisation of the Right Sector militia, the Ukrainian Volunteer Corps.
But we are no longer the “Right Sector” for a long time. A political decision will be made - currently there is none. In the public sector, we are represented by the “State Initiative of Yarosh”. We are currently following the military path. We are opening units of the “Ukrainian Volunteer Army” in Ukraine, in the regions, which would be such a mobilizing basis for training young people, training people so that they know how to hold weapons. We have a good base, good instructors in order to enable the army in wartime to mobilize the population quickly. We want to prepare as many people as possible for the war, which will probably continue for a very long time.
In the last Ukrainian election (as of 2022), held in 2019, the party ran on a joint electoral list with National Corps, Right Sector and Svoboda.
