The Sich Battalion (Батальйон “Сiч”, officially the **Special Purpose Patrol Service Battalion Sich/батальйон патрульної служби міліції особливого призначення “Сiч”) was a (Pro-Ukraine) Volunteer Battalion and paramilitary of the Svoboda party, later absorbed into the Ukrainian Special Tasks Patrol Police.

One of the Battalion’s early leaders, Yurii Cherkashin, was also the head of the Svoboda affiliated youth group Sokil, and Sokil members have joined the Battalion:

The Sich Battalion previously fought alongside the Unknown Patriot militia.

The battalion was disbanded in 2016, but reformed after the 2022 invasion of Ukraine as the 49th Infantry Battalion (Sich), a unit of the Ukrainian Army.
