The Social-National Assembly (Соціал-Національна Асамблея) is a splinter group of the Svoboda party co-founded by Andriy Biletsky, modelled based on Svoboda’s predecessor organisation, the Social-National Party, the group later merged into Right Sector before becoming independent again and reforming as the National Corps, acting as a precursor to the National Corps’ Azov Movement.
During the Euromaidan uprising, it was a constituent of the National Resistance Headquarters, the militant street wing for the Euromaidan movement.
The Assembly was affiliated with Patriot of Ukraine, the former street wing of the SN-P and Svoboda, which later militarised as the Azov Battalion after the breakout of the Donbas War, some SNA members also acted as representatives for the Radical Party of Oleh Liashko1.
