The New Prometheism is an international initiative promoting the breakup of Russia and the unification of Central and Eastern European countries into a union known as the Intermarium, the initiative shares an agenda and a partnership with National Corps’ International Secretary Olena Semenyaka and her Intermarium Support Group (part of the international outreach of the Azov Movement), the initiative also shares as an affiliation with several political parties in its target countries, for example the Rising Sun (Latvia):
We condemn the emptiness of old and worn slogans repeated by those who have betrayed the brave Ukrainian soldiers in Mariupol and recognize the need to adopt an approach of geopolitical realism. We return to the Prometheist ideas pioneered by Jozef Pilsudski, Pēteris Radziņš and Yurii Lypa:
We will fight against Russian imperialism by supporting the nationalism and self-determination of all those peoples who wish to escape the grip of Russian influence. We hold no illusions about the possibility of “democratic reforms” in Russia – it is a hostile civilization that can only be “reformed” by freeing its many indigenous peoples and ethnic Slavs themselves from the imperialist and multicultural ideology of Eurasianism.
We call for the unification of our nations in the Intermarium Union to safeguard our independence from a revanchist Russia with an equal population, resources and an advantageous geopolitical location.
The Intermarium Union must be developed through closer cooperation of political and cultural elites of our nations, by strengthening military cooperation and by creating a common financing infrastructure, such as an Intermarium Bank, to fund the removal of infrastructure deficiencies.
To achieve this, we commit to the intensification of our communication and cooperation in the name of the goal of Intermarium. Our nationalism is extending across our national borders because we see a common destiny and common ideals in the preservation and cultivation of our values that are endangered not only by hostile foreign actors, but also by left-wing radicalism inside the West itself.
We fight not just for peace, but for victory over Russia! From the ruins and ashes of Ukrainian cities a phoenix shall arise – new Europe with Intermarium as its core. Slava Ukraini!
