Eduard Limonov (Эдуард Лимонов) is the former leader of the National Bolshevik Party and its successor, The Other Russia.

Previously an ally of Alexander Dugin, Limonov split with Dugin in the late 1990s and accused him of being a Fascist, while Dugin began a collaborative relationship with the Russian state Limonov became an opposition activist, allying with progressive movements in the country to advocate against Vladimir Putin.

These ties later broke after the Donbas War began in 2014, with Limonov sending militants known as the “Interbrigades” into Donbas, effectively supporting the Kremlin’s underground undeclared war effort in the region, Limonov died in 2020.
