The Territorial Defence Battalions (Батальйо́ни територіа́льної оборо́ни) were a formal structure of the Ukrainian Army which was one of three organisations used to absorb elements of the unofficial (Pro-Ukraine) Volunteer Battalions into Ukrainian government control (the other two being the Ukrainian National Guard, also under the Ministry of Defence, and the Special Tasks Patrol Police controlled by the Ministry of Internal Affairs).

The Battalions were later reorganised as Motorised Units of the Ukrainian Army.

After the 2022 invasion, the Territorial Defence Battalions were reformed as an organisation called the Territorial Defence Forces (Війська територіальної оборони), containing veterans and reservists, such as those of the Azov-Kyiv and Azov-Dnipro units, and many international volunteers, who serve in the International Legion.
