The Oplot 1st Battalion (officially the 1st Battalion of the 5th Oplot Brigade “Russian Orthodox Army”/1-й батальон 5-й бригады «Оплот» «Русская православная армия») is a unit of the 51st Guards Combined Arms Army of the Russian Army, it was formed as an incorporation of the Russian Orthodox Army (a paramilitary associated with Russian National Unity) into the Oplot Brigade of the Donetsk People’s Militia.
